This rifle I bought for my wife to have something to shoot. I had a half thought of using it also as a home defense gun but after purchasing it’s just to awkward and heavy for such a task. I applied a cherry stain on the wood; the wife saw one with a darker stock and liked it. The cherry stain gave it a nice tone. Originally I thought SKS’s were ugly and didn’t have much use for them but this is a nice rifle with few user marks. I found it a pleaser to shoot and very cheap to feed. Bought through AIM.
