My thoughts: I do not know why but I really like this caliber. I’ve seen a lot of deer get nailed buy 180 rem core-locks out of my brothers No4MK1 and maybe seeing the effectiveness first hand gives it merit in my book. This is a proven deer getter and light in the recoil department. Reloading, it can be hard on brass, but stick to partial or neck sizing and modest loads.
